Throughout the weekend there will be confession, spiritual direction, and mentoring available for those who would like it, as well as a chance to informally meet other great Catholic couples. The Getaway programming officially ends with a memorable private reception and celebration dinner, but your time extends till Monday in order to relax and be refreshed before returning home.

    Mike and Alicia Hernon are co-founders of the Messy Family Project, a ministry dedicated to empowering moms and dads to embrace their sacred calling. Their Messy Family podcast has over two million downloads from all over the world and they regularly speak to dioceses and parishes around the country. Parents of ten children and grandparents to eight, the Hernons have made their home in Steubenville, OH for the past thirty years.

  • Fr. Shawn Monahan, OMV

    Fr. Shawn Monahan, OMV, was ordained a priest for the Oblates of the Virgin Mary in 2002. His work as a parish priest, spiritual director and Novice Master has helped Fr. Shawn to develop a deep understanding of the dynamics of growth and maturity in Christian life and how to overcome and heal the wounds that hold us back from experiencing Jesus’ deepest desire for each of us. He is the author of the virtual workshop, “The Path to Healing Our Broken Hearts.”

Every room has a beautiful view and is conveniently located to restaurants, pools and activities. There are two options for buildings for our Getaway - the East Bay Village or the West Bay Village. This will enable our group to be concentrated and closer to each other. You will be able to choose your room when you make your booking. Balconies, swim-up rooms, ocean view rooms, and butlers are all available!

Space is limited and will sell out, so register early to secure your room. Register between June 1 - June 30th and you will save $200. Full price from July 1st until our limited rooms are all sold out.

If unable to pay in full, a deposit will temporarily hold your room. All invoices must be paid in full by August 1, 2025 if not at time of booking. Please see our refund and cancellation policy for more details. Please contact us if you need a payment plan.
