Welcome to the Catholic Couples Getaway website (“Site”). By accessing this Site or purchasing a retreat, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Catholic Couples Getaway (“we,” “our,” or “us”) offers faith-centered, adults-only retreat experiences for married couples. All bookings, payments, and communications are handled online. Retreats take place at third-party resorts and venues.

2. Eligibility & Participation

  • Retreats are open to married couples only, age 21 or older.

  • By registering, you confirm that you and your spouse meet these requirements.

  • Participation in retreat/getaway activities is voluntary.

3. Reservations & Payments

  • Reservations are made through our Shopify checkout.

  • We may offer deposit-based bookings or full-payment options, depending on the retreat.

  • If a deposit is paid, the remaining balance must be paid by the deadline communicated to you via email.

  • Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because our retreats involve advance commitments with resorts and vendors, all payments are subject to our cancellation policy, which will be clearly communicated during registration.

  • Deposits may become non-refundable after a specified date

  • Full payments may become non-refundable as the retreat date approaches

  • No refunds will be issued for early departures, missed activities, or no-shows

We strongly recommend purchasing travel protection/insurance to protect your investment.

5. Changes & Retreat Modifications

We reserve the right to:

  • Make reasonable changes to the retreat schedule, speakers, or activities

  • Substitute comparable accommodations or programming if necessary

  • Cancel or reschedule a retreat due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, resort issues, travel disruptions)

If we cancel a retreat, our liability is limited to a refund of payments made directly to us.

6. Travel & Third-Party Services

Catholic Couples Getaway is not responsible for:

  • Airline delays, cancellations, or missed connections

  • Passport or travel documentation issues

  • Actions or omissions of resorts, airlines, or other third-party providers

You are responsible for arranging your own travel unless otherwise stated.

7. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk

By participating, you acknowledge that travel and group activities involve inherent risks. You agree to:

  • Assume full responsibility for your health and well-being

  • Follow resort rules and local laws

  • Release Catholic Couples Getaway from liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage except where prohibited by law

8. Media Release

By attending a retreat, you grant us permission to use photographs or video taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you notify us in writing in advance.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site—including text, graphics, logos, videos, and materials—is the property of Catholic Couples Getaway and may not be used or reproduced without permission.

10. Faith-Based Environment

Catholic Couples Getaway is rooted in the Catholic faith. While participation in mass, prayer and spiritual activities is encouraged, it is always respectful and invitational.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
